My USA Trip 2025
It was a really nice experience to visit multiple places in the US within the same trip. At the same time, it was quite challenging to adapt to different time zones and fly to multiple locations. However, I had unique experiences while traveling to the West Coast and the Midwest of the US, which I had never been to before.
I enjoyed the food and the man-made structures in Las Vegas. It was mostly about playing games and gambling. However, there were many great restaurants along The Strip, where you can find food from nearly any world cuisine within a 10-minute walk. Also, the nature in Nevada was amazing. If I go there again, I’ll spend more time visiting other natural landmarks like the Grand Canyon and Valley of Fire.
San Francisco was unlike any other place — home to many big tech companies, small startups trying to survive, and unfortunately, a visible homelessness problem. I found the city really nice: beautiful parks, seaside beaches, scenic walking and biking paths leading to the famous Golden Gate Bridge, many hills both small and large, historic trams, and more. Even for a small city, it offers a great variety of things to do. I didn’t get a chance to visit Alcatraz Prison — if I go there again, I’ll definitely visit it (unless it’s still closed due to political reasons).
Lastly, Chicago is another great city. I think it offers everything New York City does, but in a more affordable way — and maybe a bit colder. It’s a really nice place to live, with calm streets and a very walkable environment if you live near downtown. I didn’t go up to any of the skyscraper viewpoints, but if I visit Chicago again, I’ll definitely do that.
